Spirited fans at The Dungeon in Halifax greeted the Nova Scotia Leviathan for their clash with the Toledo Stingers.

The Toledo Stingers picked up a win at The Dungeon in Halifax, knocking off the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 6-3. Starting pitcher Bailey Borrett was an essential part of his team's success. Borrett, now 9-3, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs.

Toledo took a 5-2 lead on Lester Threlfall's 17th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Nova Scotia pitcher Zuo-lin Liang in the top of the ninth.

"That's the key at this level, throwing strike one," said Borrett. "Successful pitchers do it."

Toledo goes to 71-28. The win puts them 10 games up in their division.
