Extra-Inning Win by Northern Lions BC over Elite
|
Curf Pierstisnips drove in 5 runs to help Thunder Bay hand Detroit a loss. The final score was 11-9. Pierstisnips had 3 singles and 1 triple for the Northern Lions BC. He also scored 2 runs. Detroit now has a 6-game losing streak.
Pierstisnips had a game-changing triple in the top of the 12th. On a first pitch cutter from Ramón Ramírez, he banged a 2-run triple to right-center, giving the Northern Lions BC a 11-9 lead. It was the 3rd triple of the year for Pierstisnips.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Pierstisnips told the Thunder Bay Gazette.
