Northern Lions BC Topple Grey Wolves with Late Rally
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC topped the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 8-7, in Menard's Third League action at Great Northern Field. The player of the game was Thunder Bay first baseman Yao-pang Chiang. Thunder Bay is now 29-59, Vancouver 47-41.

Curf Pierstisnips was the walk-off hero for Thunder Bay. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Northern Lions BC second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Nice to get this one," said Chiang. "Wins have been hard to come by."
