The Vancouver Grey Wolves beat the Las Vegas Flamingos, 8-6, at Wolf Den in Vancouver. The win was largely due to the efforts of shortstop Eloi Hanai, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Woodward Haberdash picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 11-2. Munoto Morishita was tagged with the loss. Las Vegas is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 8 in a row.

Vancouver took a 7-6 lead on Hanai's 19th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which he hit off Munoto Morishita in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Vancouver to the win.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Hanai.
