Hodge Dazzles in Long Island Win
|
The Long Island Lighthouse got a magnificent performance from pitcher Greg Hodge, who muffled the St. Louis offense en route to a tight 2-0 Lighthouse win at The BFIB. Carlos Rodríguez got credit for the save for Long Island. It was his 9th of the year. The Lighthouse now have a record of 31-35 with the win over St. Louis.
Hodge, who was born in Marysville, Pennsylvania, threw 105 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no earned runs.
"We had a good game plan," Hodge said, "and we were able to execute it."
