Oaks Topple Pandas as Wilson Shines
|
A 5-RBI performance from the 26-year old first baseman Bradley Wilson helped the Oakland Oaks beat the Montana Pandas, 9-4. Oakland is now 34-45. Montana is 31-48.
Oakland took a 7-3 lead on Wilson's 6th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which he hit off Christiaan Volkers in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Oakland to the win.
In postgame comments to the Oakland Bulletin, Wilson said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
