Lacasa Helps Hollywood Outscore Boston
|
Behind a solid performance from third baseman Lautaro Lacasa, the Hollywood Shredders defeated the Boston Patriots, 14-13. Lacasa went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 4 runs for the Shredders. Getting the save was Binjimen Victor, his 21st. The wins continue to add up for Hollywood, with the latest making it 7 in a row.
It could have been a different outcome for Hollywood, had it not been for Richard Trevithick, the 28-year old first baseman . Trevithick contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Hollywood up, 11-9.
"Guys always talk about winning games because of the 'little things,'" Lacasa told the Hollywood Times. "Call me old fashioned, but I think baseball is about the big things -- like scoring more runs."
