Stingers Get One-Run Win at Thunder Bay
Toledo beat Thunder Bay at Great Northern Field, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Ricky Sellers, who earned player of the game honors. Yoriyoshi Sugimoto earned the save for Toledo, his 16th of the year. Toledo leads the Third League by 8˝ games.

With one out in the top of the sixth, Lester Threlfall had a game-changing hit. The Stingers right fielder slammed a 2-run single off Luis Cuevas, making the score 5-2, Toledo.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Sellers said.
