The Panama City Piranhas bested the Toledo Stingers by a score of 7-6, with right fielder Carsello Scruggins getting the main credit. On the day, Scruggins was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Piranhas. Jaganmani Vivek, credited with the win, is now 3-1. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits in 7 innings.
In the first inning, Scruggins had a 3-run home run for Panama City. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Piranhas on top, 3-0.
"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Scruggins told the Panama City Times.
