Loss to Monsters Extends Hamilton Losing Streak
|
The 2043 season is getting ugly for Hamilton.
Monongahela Monsters starter Santiago Ramírez was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Hamilton Coyotes, 6-1. The winning pitcher was Ramírez, now 7-5. He tossed 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 5.
The game hit a turning point in the bottom of the third inning, when the Monsters were trailing 1-0. Adam Smith delivered a two-out 2-run double for Monongahela, catapulting his team into the lead.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Smith said after the game.
