Baton Rouge left fielder Dave Summers made his presence felt in the 11-2 Brass triumph over the Hamilton Coyotes. Summers was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The winner was Glenn Underwood, who threw 102 pitches over 6.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 4 hits. The Brass have now won 4 straight.

Summers put Baton Rouge up, 10-0, when he hit a 3-run home run off Hansky Paillant in the top of the sixth. His 7th home run of the season helped the Brass capture the win.
