Flyers Get Win, Extend Streak to 4
|
The Pennsauken Flyers stymied the Pawnee ParksNRec, 7-1, at Pennsauken Park. Rubén Nuañez, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He went 2-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for Pennsauken. The Flyers have now won 4 straight.
Pennsauken took a 4-0 lead on Nuañez's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off John McNeill in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Pennsauken to the win.
In postgame comments to the Pennsauken News, Nuañez said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
