Great Day for Oleastro in Dodos Win
|
Hialeah and Florida duked it out at Psychos Ballpark and the Dodos came out victorious.
The Hialeah Dodos bested the Florida Men by a score of 8-6, with right fielder Juan Oleastro getting the main credit. On the day, Oleastro was 4 for 4 with 4 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Dodos. Hialeah reliever César Soto picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Raúl Hinojosa shouldered the loss.
The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth when Oleastro, who is tied for 5th in the SAAA in hits with 68, hit a 2-run single. It propelled the Dodos into the lead, 4-2.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Zach King said.
Hialeah now has a 3-game win streak.
