Monsters Roll to 9-3 Win Over Squirrel Monkeys

Royce Foster helped his team muscle past the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys, 9-3. In the game, the Monongahela left fielder was 1 for 5 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Santiago Ramírez was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 3 hits, with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts. Ivano Carbonetti locked down his 1st save.
Monongahela took a 6-3 lead on Foster's 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Robert Smith in the top of the sixth, propelled Monongahela to the win.
