The Hialeah Dodos got a strong performance from pitcher Elroy Quaid, who stymied the Pennsauken offense en route to a 4-2 win at Pennsauken Park. Hialeah reliever Elroy Quaid got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Dong-hua Hao was tagged with the loss. Kenny Hannah was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.

Hialeah used the bat of Dallas McMurran to get the win. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Dodos ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," McMurran told a Hialeah Chronicle reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."

Hialeah now has a 4-game win streak.
