The Monongahela Monsters topped the Forest City Warriors, 5-3, in USSL Triple A action at Timber Hawks Ballpark. The player of the game was Monongahela pitcher and Montego Bay, Jamaica native Elliot Rickard. Wes Gilmore was called on to finish, recording his 4th save. Monongahela is now 24-20. Forest City is 22-22.

The game hit a turning point in the bottom of the fourth inning, when the Monsters were trailing 2-1. Shao Qigang delivered a two-out 2-run double for Monongahela, catapulting his team into the lead.

"It feels good to get this one," Rickard told the Monongahela Daily.
