Rainbeaus Continue Skid Thanks to Kent, ParksNRec
|
Pawnee first baseman Elmer Kent had a 5-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Kansas Rainbeaus, 7-0. The Rainbeaus, now 26-17, have lost 4 in a row.
With Pawnee leading 1-0 in the top of the fifth, Kent hit a fastball from Morgan Novak for a run-scoring single. It was his 9th hit of the season and put the ParksNRec ahead, 2-0.
"I thought we played a nice game," Kent told the Pawnee Chronicle. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
