Jobse Dazzles in Charleston Win
|
It was a fun time at Charleston Armory, where the Baltimore Bullets and Charleston Battery tangled.
Charleston starter Ton Jobse pitched effectively against the Baltimore Bullets at Charleston Armory. The right-hander led his team to a 4-1 win. The save went to Amberlan Romubio, his 2nd this season.
Jobse, who dominated for Charleston, earned the victory to move to 2-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 9. Baltimore batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Jobse told the Charleston Daily News.
The Battery, now 4-2, have been playing some good baseball.
