The Monongahela Monsters defeated the Hamilton Coyotes, 5-2, in USSL Triple A action at Timber Hawks Ballpark, with Monongahela pitcher Elliot Rickard named player of the game. Roy Lowe finished the game for Monongahela and earned his 2nd save. Monongahela is now riding a 5-game win streak.

Román García, the Monongahela second baseman, contributed a 2-run double in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 4-2, Monsters. For the game, García went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
