The Monongahela Monsters defeated the Hamilton Coyotes, 6-2, in USSL Triple A action at Timber Hawks Ballpark, with Monongahela pitcher Juan Valseca named player of the game. The losing streak for Hamilton has now reached 4 games.

Valseca, who has sometimes raised the ire of coaches and teammates with his famously lackadaisical work ethic, turned in a spirited effort. The hurler struck out 9 in 6.2 innings and gave up no earned runs.
