The Monongahela Monsters beat the Hamilton Coyotes, 8-1, at Timber Hawks Ballpark. The Monsters got a fine performance from third baseman Roger Snodgrass, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Santiago Ramírez, the winner, improved to 2-2.
