Brass Score Late to Upend Flyers, 4-3
|
Derek Corbin made an impact in the 4-3 Baton Rouge win over Pennsauken. Corbin went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Baton Rouge reliever Ryan Neal picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Bradley Leeder took the loss. With the win over Pennsauken, the Brass improved to 14-7.
Wilson Sabadodíaz made it 4-3 in favor of Baton Rouge when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with two out in the top of the eighth. The Brass went on to win.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Sabadodíaz.
