Greenville beat Hollywood at The Hollywood Bowl, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Jesús Silva, who earned player of the game honors. Dave Lawson finished the game for Greenville and earned his 2nd save. With the win, Greenville boosts its record to 4-2.

Greenville used the timely hitting of Quincy Wass to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the 84s ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Silva told reporters after the game.
