Rainbeaus Lose, 7-2, at Timber Hawks Ballpark
Monongahela catcher Shao Qigang made his presence felt in the 7-2 Monsters triumph over the Kansas Rainbeaus. Qigang went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The Rainbeaus fall to 8-9 and continue their wobbly start to the 2043 season.

George Runnalls, who is tied for 6th in the SAAA in doubles with 5, aided the Monongahela cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Monongahela manager Miguel Martínez. "Our pregame was pretty good."
