Starks Raise Rally Flag, Beat Hartford, 6-5

The Syracuse Starks overcame a good performance by Hartford third baseman Komotay Koffie to knock off Hartford, 6-5, at Stark Stadium. Koffie was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The last-place Pride have dropped 4 straight games.
Syracuse took a 6-5 lead on Patrick Mildren's 10th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Hartford pitcher Matt Digby in the bottom of the ninth.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Mildren told the Syracuse News.
