Right-hander Scott Thompson mesmerized the Plymouth Rocks while leading the Tortolita Drummers to a 4-0 victory. The save was credited to Gabriel Leeds, his 2nd. The second-place Drummers raised their record to 54-36.

Tortolita used the clutch hitting of Graeme Dormer to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Drummers ahead, 3-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"I made some pitches when I had to," said Thompson.
