Plymouth starter Josh Brennan pitched effectively against the Tortolita Drummers at Plymouth Quarry. The left-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. Plymouth reliever Monte Evans was the winner. His record is now 3-5. Austin Aries took the loss. Plymouth is 36-53 and Tortolita, with the loss, 53-36.

Daniel Marley was the walk-off hero for Plymouth. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rocks center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Marley said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
