Forest City rode a fine outing from starter Forest Bell to victory over the Hamilton Coyotes at League Park. The final score was 5-2. The save was credited to Elliot Roebuck, his 1st. Forest City, now 3-0, is setting the league on fire so far.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and two out in the bottom of the fourth inning. That's when left fielder Ernest Franks drew a walk. The Warriors went on to win.

"It was our day today," Franks told the Forest City Herald. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
