The Sacramento Redlegs defeated the Port Royal Disaster, 9-2, at Ballpark of Port Royal. Sacramento right fielder John Yossarian was named player of the game for his superb performance. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Sacramento is now 29-38, Port Royal 25-42.

Sacramento relied on the hitting of De-wei Chi to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Redlegs on top, 9-2. For the game, Chi had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Yossarian told the Sacramento News.
