Rincón Excels, But Humpbacks Win
Fernando Rincón did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Tortolita Drummers from losing, 11-7, to the Alaskan Humpbacks at Sea World. Rincón went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The win was Sasheer Zamata's in relief. His record improves to 4-0. Gabriel Leeds took the loss for Tortolita. The Drummers, now 28-25, have lost 5 straight.

Alaskan took a 9-7 lead on Mun-wah Law's 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Law hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Tortolita pitcher Mau Delgado shaking his head.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Law told reporters after the game.
