Disaster Come Back Late to Top Humpbacks
Alaskan catcher Cristo Lucas was sensational. He was 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Port Royal beat the Humpbacks, 5-3. Lucas was named the player of the game despite the loss. Manny Rodríguez closed it out for his 9th save. Port Royal is in 8th place in the Premier AAA with a record of 19-31.

Port Royal needed the clutch hitting of Eric Landry to notch the win. The shortstop hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Disaster on top, 5-3. For the game, Landry had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.

"I still have a lot of confidence in this team," Port Royal manager Soseki Matsunaga said afterward.
