Ballpark of Tacoma was the site for USSL Double A action featuring the Tacoma Fur Traders and Akron Blimps.

The Akron Blimps dealt the Tacoma Fur Traders a 7-2 loss at Ballpark of Tacoma. Bobby O'Kennedy was the star on offense. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Javier Merlo got the win, improving to 3-0. He held the Fur Traders to no earned runs on 4 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 3.

O'Kennedy came through for the Blimps in the top of the third inning. With Akron leading 1-0, the left fielder hit a sacrifice fly. It made the score 2-0, Akron.
