Pride Bang Out 6-1 Win Versus Jersey City
The Hartford Pride got a strong performance from pitcher Ismael Calderón, who stymied the Jersey City offense en route to a 6-1 win at Pride Park. In 6.1 innings, Calderón surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 3. He allowed no runs. Even with the win, the Pride have a dismal 13-28 record.

Barend Huijbregts dealt the Tritons a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and Hartford leading 1-0, Huijbregts hit a 1-1 forkball for a 2-run double.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Jersey City manager Jack Alexander.
