The Bethesda Atoms trumped the Casper Ghosts, 6-4, at The Graveyard. Bethesda right fielder Mhelter Narcida was named player of the game for his performance. He went 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Bethesda reliever Wilson Molina picked up the win to move to 1-2. Ernest Wheeler suffered the loss. The save went to Alco Roelofs, his 2nd this season.
Bethesda relied on the bat of José Costa to get the win. The shortstop ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Atoms ahead, 5-4. For the game, Costa had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
In postgame comments, Costa said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
The Ghosts fall to 6-12 and continue their uneasy start to the 2043 season.
