The Plymouth Rocks picked up a win at Ballpark of Port Royal, knocking off the Port Royal Disaster, 6-5. Starting pitcher David Moore played a key role in the triumph. Monte Evans earned the save for Plymouth, his 6th. Even with the win, the Rocks have a dismal 12-27 record.

Plymouth used the clutch hitting of Daniel Divina to capture the win. The pinch hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rocks ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Divina told the Plymouth Observer. "It's as simple as that."
