Drummers Ballpark was the site for USPL Triple A action featuring the Tortolita Drummers and Sacramento Redlegs.
Sacramento Redlegs starter Gonzalo Rossi kept the Tortolita Drummers hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-1 win. The 7th-place Redlegs improved to 15-18.
The outcome might have been different for Sacramento, had it not been for Qian-fu Zhou, the 24-year old left fielder . Zhou stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put Sacramento up, 1-0. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Zhou. "And not try to do too much."
