Fur Traders Shut Out Krewe
Tacoma beat Crescent City on the strength of starter Félix Benítez's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 7-0 win. Losses have been rare for the Krewe, who are now 10-2.

Tacoma relied on the hitting of Roberto Suárez to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Fur Traders on top, 4-0. For the game, Suárez had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We take it day by day here," said Benítez, "and today was a good one for us."
