Ballpark of Port Royal was the site of a competitive game between the Port Royal Disaster and Alaskan Humpbacks.

Alaskan beat Port Royal on the strength of starter Gerard Tremwade's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 5-3 win. Tremwade, the winner, moves to 2-1. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up no walks. Earning his 4th save for Alaskan was Sean Kennedy.

Alaskan needed the clutch hitting of Roberts Hamhock to notch the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Humpbacks on top, 2-1. For the game, Hamhock had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It's a mindset," said Tremwade. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."

The Humpbacks improved to 16-6.
