The Sacramento Redlegs did just enough to sneak past the Plymouth Rocks, 3-2, at Plymouth Quarry. Sacramento pitcher Gerardo García earned player of the game honors. The 7th-place Redlegs improved to 10-11.

Qian-fu Zhou made it 3-2, Sacramento, in the top of the ninth when he hit a sacrifice fly. It was a big at-bat in the Redlegs win.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Plymouth manager José Reyes. "But we decided not to take it."
