Rocks Drop Redlegs with Late Score
The Plymouth Rocks picked up a win at Plymouth Quarry, knocking off the Sacramento Redlegs, 4-3. Starting pitcher Melvin Turner played a key role in the triumph. The Redlegs fall to 8-11 and continue to sputter in the early going.

Junji Ito was the walk-off hero for Plymouth. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rocks shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's a mindset," said Turner. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
