Drummers Cut Down Pajaritos, 8-4
|
The Tortolita Drummers topped the Norfolk Pajaritos by the score of 8-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to shortstop Fernando Rincón. Rincón went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Drummers on the day. Earning his 6th save of the year was Mau Delgado. With the win, Tortolita improves its record to 9-7.
Tortolita took a 4-0 lead on Rincón's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Hamilton Franklin in the top of the sixth, propelled Tortolita to the win.
