Nationals Come Up Short at Gwinnett
|
Edgar Morales pitched well, but his team, the Ottawa Nationals, still dropped a 4-3 decision to the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs at Experimental Stadium. Gwinnett reliever Jonas Wisse picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Edgar Morales was collared with the loss. With the win, Gwinnett is 3-2.
Mike Williams helped out the Gwinnett cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring triple. For the game, the third baseman was 1-4 with a triple.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Williams said.
