Dominant Performance by Sandín in Crescent City Win
|
In a well-pitched game between the Crescent City Krewe and the Ottawa Nationals, pitcher Mauro Sandín was fantastic. The Crescent City right-hander was named the player of the game in Crescent City's 2-1 win. The Krewe, now 2-0, have played some good baseball in the early going.
Sandín, who dominated for Crescent City, earned the victory to move to 1-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 11. Ottawa batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"It feels good to get this one," Sandín told the Crescent City Bulletin.
