The Nolensville Knights beat the Austin Black Mambas, 4-3, at Mamba Park. The win was largely due to the efforts of catcher Ace Felder, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk. The 7th-place Knights have won 6 consecutive games.
The Knights got a big at-bat from left fielder Ignacio Cabrera. For the game, Cabrera went 2-4 with 2 singles and was hit by a pitch. In the top of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 7th hit of the season gave Nolensville a 3-2 lead.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Nolensville manager Jack Clayton.
