Knights Sneak Past Reserves, 3-2

Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Nolensville Knights got the win.
The Nolensville Knights trumped the Athletic Club KC Reserves, 3-2, at KC Reserve Stadium. Nolensville right fielder Ánibal Leobardo was named player of the game for his performance. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. Nolensville reliever Lex Janssen got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Rick Knapp was tagged with the loss.
Nolensville used the timely hitting of Brenton Winston to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Knights ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Winston told the Nolensville News.
Athletic Club KC's current losing streak is now 4 games.
