Buzz Come Back Late to Clip Golden Cranes
The Salt Lake City Buzz beat the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 6-5 at Crane Field, in part due to designated hitter Josh Wiggins, who nabbed player of the game honors. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The third-place Buzz improved to 45-42.

Had Wiggins not come through in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Wiggins hit a run-scoring single. The Buzz never looked back after taking the 6-5 lead.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Wiggins told the Salt Lake City Chronicle.
