Bullets Hope Win Turns Around Slow Start
The Baltimore Bullets knocked off the Charleston Battery, 6-4, at Charleston Armory. Meester Gobbles-Rooster, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Baltimore won. The third baseman was 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs. Joo-hyun Pak picked up the save, his 1st. The win gives Baltimore a record of 1-3.

With Baltimore leading 4-3 in the top of the fourth, Gobbles-Rooster hit a slider from Miguel Angel Martínez for a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Bullets ahead, 6-3.

Gobbles-Rooster told a Baltimore Today reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
