Knights Jolt Red Pandas with Late Rally

The Sioux Falls Red Pandas got a sterling performance from pitcher Andrew Moody, but the Knights still prevailed, 4-3. Moody was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 5 innings allowing 1 run. Nolensville reliever Frank Butler was the winner. His record is now 4-6. Keith Rojas took the loss. Nolensville currently is in 8th place in the Menard's AAA at 36-43.
The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Govaart Baars came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Sioux Falls pitcher Keith Rojas, he hit a 2-1 fastball for a run-scoring double. It was a game-changer, putting Nolensville on top, 4-3.
Baars told the Nolensville News: "I was born for the big stage."
