Great Day for Amengual in Blitzkrieg Win
The Port Huron Blitzkrieg knocked off the Sunset District Fog, 16-5, at Fog Park. Jesús Amengual, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Port Huron won. The catcher was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. Kliment Spirk earned the save for Port Huron, his 1st of the year. The Blitzkrieg sit in 4th place in the Menard's AAA with a record of 38-36.

Port Huron used the timely hitting of Juan Amengual to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Blitzkrieg ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was an important one.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Amengual.
