The Sioux Falls Red Pandas downed the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 8-6, at Crane Field. Tony Randolph led the way, going 2-for-4 for Sioux Falls. Sioux Falls reliever José Puente was credited with the win, to go to 2-3. Chris Berry took the loss for Santa Barbara. Nolan Bullock earned his 1st save in 4 tries.
The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Randolph delivered big-time for Sioux Falls, stroking a dramatic run-scoring double off Chris Berry. The game-changing hit put the Red Pandas on top, 7-6.
"We'll savor this win," Randolph told the Sioux Falls Herald, "then get ready for the next game."
Their 27-29 record puts the Red Pandas 5th in the Menard's AAA.
